New £5 note goes live 13 September 2016

As previously reported – see 'New £5 Note Announced' - a new polymer £5 note will start to be issued on 13 September 2016.

NB - In May 2017 the existing paper £5 notes will cease to be legal tender and should no longer be accepted by retailers and banks.
